A St. Landry Parish Grand Jury indicted an Opelousas man for the second-degree murder of his 4-year-old daughter on Nov. 20, 2021.
Joseph C. Mayon, Jr. was indicted on Jan. 26 for second-degree murder and second-degree cruelty to a juvenile, according to District Attorney Chad Pitre.
