Opelousas Police Officer Savannah Butler surrendered at the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 1 and was booked on two counts of negligent injury, one count of obstruction of justice, and one count of illegal discharge of a firearm, according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz in a news release.
Butler, 42, of the 100 block of Garnet Drive,Opelousas, posted bail of $22,000.
