Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a drive-by shooting which occurred in the 1200 block of Rupert Lake Road south of Eunice about about 10 p.m. Nov. 2.
According to a news release from Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish, a shot was fired into a residence and struck a victim inside. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A white, single cab truck was captured on home surveillance at the time of the shooting. It is believed this was a random act, the news release stated.
Anyone with information regarding this crime, is urged to call the tips line at 789-TIPS or download the P3 app on a mobile device to report a tip anonymously.
All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
