A 19-year-old male was shot in the leg in a case of horseplay, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
“He was playing with a gun and obviously had no business playing with it. He dropped the magazine out it and still had a round left in the chamber,” Fontenot said.
“According to witnesses, he knew the round was in the chamber,” he said.
