An Opelousas man was arrested for stealing a police officer’s 9mm Glock 19 service pistol from a police unit.
Arrested was Braylon Jones, 18, of the 900 block of La. 749. He is charged with simple burglary. His bail was set at $5,000.
Patrol deputies responded to the report on Nov. 24.
