A Sunset man was killed in a single-vehicle auto wreck on Boxie Road in Sunset at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
The driver of the vehicle ran off of the road and struck an excavator that was parked on private property near the shoulder of Boxie Road, Guidroz stated in a news release.
