Suspect robs, assaults clerk at Subway

Sunset Police need help in locating the suspect involved in an armed robbery and sexual assault in Sunset, according to St. Landry Crime Stoppers.
Just before 9 p.m. Feb. 22, Sunset Police received a call in reference to an armed robbery of the Subway located on Oak Tree Park Drive. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a mask, with a dark colored hoodie jacket, dark pants, a grey t-shirt, and was armed with a silver handgun. The unknown suspect robbed the store at gun point then pulled out the wires of security camera and sexually assaulted the clerk at gun point. DNA evidence was collected at the scene.
