Living in the rural areas of a parish has its advantages, however coming home to find your residence burglarized is a feeling of being violated.
Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating three separate burglaries which occurred on April 17 in the northern portion of Acadia Parish. The victims residing on Fournerat Road, the Eunice Iota Highway and Schultz Road, returned home to find that their homes had been forcefully entered. While inside these residences, suspects rummaged through various areas of the homes stealing jewelry, electronics and guns.
Deputies believe these cases are related as video surveillance captured a white mid-sized sedan in the area of these burglaries. Also, the method of forced entry used to enter each home was similar.
Crime Stoppers need help to identify the owner or driver of this vehicle. Pictures may be seen on the Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish Facebook Page. Anyone with information regarding these crimes is urged to call the tips line at 789-TIPS or download the P3 app on your mobile device to submit your tip anonymously.
All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
