Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs the public’s help to solve a cold case.
Iota Police are investigating a residential burglary which occurred sometime from Dec. 2 to 9 in the 600 block of South 5th Street in Iota.
While the victim was out of town entry was made into the home and several firearms including an Omni Hybrid AR-12, a 12 gauge Browning shotgun and a 20 gauge Browning shotgun were stolen. Silver dollar coins were also stolen. It’s believed that entry was gained through the garage door.
Anyone with information regarding the burglary is urged to call the tips line at 789-Tips or download the P3 app on a mobile device to submit a tip anonymously.
All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
