Tips sought in Opelousas thefts

St Landry Crime Stoppers and the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspects involved in a theft in the 100 block of Sunnydale Road in Opelousas.
On Dec. 14, 2017, the owner reported that he left his residence at about 8 a.m. then at 11 a.m. to find his 2004 camouflage Honda Rancher ATV had been stolen. Also stolen is a 2016 Black COTC 5x10 trailer with a drop down tailgate bearing Louisiana license number L922262.
A witness stated that at 9:54 a.m. a late-model Ford pickup backed into the yard and two white males hooked up the trailer and fled the scene. The truck is described as having a dark brown front end, possible tan markings on the doors, and a white bed and tailgate.
