When school is out for summer, it is normal for the students to scatter.
But 17 LSU Eunice baseball players are spending their summer across the country participating in numerous collegiate leagues.
“It is great that our players get to participate in these leagues,” LSUE head coach Jeff Willis said. “Not only do they get to refine their skill set, but they get to see another part of the country.
“We have seen numerous players over the years leave for the summer and come back a totally different player,” he said.
“It’s always exciting to see which players transform over the summer.”
