Three District 4-4A teams advanced to the second round of the state playoffs.
No. 11 LaGrange (16-10) grabbed a 65-39 win over No. 22 Lakeshore before falling to the eventual state champions A.J. Elllender, 61-36.
No. 12 North Vermilion (21-10) opened the playoffs with a 46-24 win over No. 21 Franklin Parish.
