5-3A All-District team named

Four Eunice High Lady Bobcats were named to the 5-3A All-District basketball team as selected by the coaches.
EHS junior Stacie White (20.2 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game) was selected to the first team.
Northwest’s Nicole Manuel was named the coach of the year, while Iota’s Madeline Gatte (16.2 ppg, 11.1 rpg) earned MVP honors.
Khahli Malone (20.2 ppg, 8 rpg) from Northwest was also named to the first team along with Mamou’s Ka’Zhana Richard (16.3 ppg, 2.5 rpg) and Madison Oliver (14.8 ppg, 9.3 rpg) from Iota.
Northwest’s Katlyn Manuel and Tashianna Fontenot head the all-district second team along with Kendall Miller from Iota.
Kameron Allen from Pine Prairie and Church Point’s Tionne Breaux were also named to the second team.
Shanyia Malveaux from Eunice was named to the All-Defensive team along with Church Point’s Jazmine Boudreaux,
Lily Hoffpauir from Crowley along with Iota’s Naomi Rasberry were also selected on the defensive list.
Completing the all-defensive team were Braylin Charles from Mamou, Northwest’s Mary Leday along with Brianna Wall, from Pine Prairie and Port Barre’s Maika Compton.
Eunice High’s Jesslyn Reed and Leah Walker were named as Honorable Mention selections.
