In one of the toughest Class 1-A districts in the state, four of the six teams earned a spot in the playoffs.
No. 15 Opelousas Catholic captured the District 6-1A title with a perfect 5-0 record. The Vikings advanced to Div. IV quarterfinals with wins over No. 18 St. Edmund (54-20) and No. 2 Central Catholic of Morgan City (52-12).
