Saturday was a special day for Clarence Merricks and the Eunice High baseball family.
In a pre-game ceremony, Coach Merricks was honored as the first baseball coach for the Bobcats “who’s coaching ability, determination and a battling spirit help earned EHS the Class 3-A state championship in 1979.”
