It was a battle from the first pitch to the final out as the No. 4 Bobcats earned a 2-1 victory Thursday over No. 5 Pearl River in the first game of the quarterfinal series.
With another win on Friday at Bobcat Field, Eunice will advance to Thursday’s semifinals at McMurry Park in Sulphur to face either No. 1 Lutcher or No. 8 Lakeshore.
