Jennings handed Eunice its first team loss of the tennis season as the Bulldogs grabbed a 9-5 win over the Bobcats Thursday at the Fairground courts.
In boys singles, Eunice High’s Zachary Joubert defeated Shad Noe, 8-5.
Bobcat Matthew Miller fell 8-0 to Kain Babineaux, while Cameron Fontenot rolled to an 8-0 win over Slade Walker.
In boys doubles, Jennings grabbed a 3-0 sweep.
Joubert and Miller fell 8-6 to Jackson Person and Noe.
Eunice duo Fontenot and Ting Jaing lost 9-7 to Spencer Stelly and Babineaux.
On Court 3, Dylan Miller and William McLemore dropped an 8-3 decision to Walker and Jacob Lyons.
In girls singles, Eunice’s Kelsey Courville fell 8-1 to Brynn Granger, while Grace Toepfer earned an 8-4 win over Maddie Futch.
Lady Cat Brooke Aguillard fell 8-3 to Ginger Edmadson, while Caroline Andrus earned an 8-6 win over Chanyke Meas.
In girls doubles, Jennings topped the Lady Cats, 3-1.
Courville and Toepfer fell 8-0 to Lady Bulldogs Sam Patterson and Sarah Hollier.
Aguillard and Sarah Gotreaux battled to an 8-6 win over Makenzie Roy and Kaylee Herpin.
Meghan Fontenot and Paisley Fruge fell 8-6 to Brynn Granger and Herpin.
Lady Cats Anya Williams and Melodee Kennedy fell 8-2 to Futch and Meas.
Eunice (4-1) will entertain Vermillion Catholic at 3:15 p.m. Monday.
