The Bobcats and Lady Cats both won to sweep the 2020 Eunice Invitational season opening track meet.
The Lady Cats won the meet scoring 189 points, followed by Iota (106), Crowley (97), Jennings (40), Opelousas Catholic (20) and Mamou (2).
Lachelle Edwards won the triple jump with a leap of 29-6 1/2. while teammate Brilye Reed was a close second (28-6).
Edwards finished second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 19.47, while Alivia Ceaser finished third (20.50).
Madison Freeman won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 56.78, while Allison Freeman was second (57.30).
Lady Cat Katherine Rougeau won the javelin competition with a toss of 105-9.
Nahriah Jones won the long jump (14-5) and was second in the high jump (4-6).
Toussaint finished third in the long jump (13-10).
Destiny Ranton finished third in the 100-meter dash with a tine of 13.56.
Akashaa Hall was third in the 1,600 meters with a time of 7:44.30.
Reed, Leah Walker, Shaynia Toussaint and Zakayla Citizen captured the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 1:52.03.
Aamyah Hanchett, Rougeau, Andajihi Savoy and Destiny Guy won the 4x800 meter relay with a 13:17.00.
J’lisa Thibeau won the shot put (30-7), followed by team mate Taylor Lewis (26-7 1/2).
Kimberly Boullard captured the discus battle with a toss of 91-22, while team mate Andrayia White finished second (77-10).
Ranton, Walker, Toussaint and Citizen finished second in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 52.65.
Walker, Madison Freeman, Toussaint and Citizen finished second in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:52.03.
In the boys competition, The Bobcats scored 129 points to edge past Jennings’ 119 points.
Crowley finished third with 90 points, followed by Iota (84), Oberlin (46), Mamou (24) and Opelousas Catholic (20).
Keovondray Savoy won the discus with a throw of 102-2, while Joseph Anderson captured the high jump at 6-4.
Jeoul Hill finished second in the triple jump (40-9 1/2) and third in the long jump (20-0).
Jacoby Collins won the 200 meters with a time of 23.85.
Micheal Gaspard finished second in the 800-meter run (2:25.45) and the 1,600 meters (5:23.60).
Dakota Garza was second in the 3,200 meters with a time of 11:53.00.
Rondraylon Mitchell was second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.12.
Devin Richardson finished third in the 100 meters (11.81).
Anderson, Clarence Arceneaux, Tyshawn Joseph and Mitchell won the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:51.97.
Collins, Fred Guillory, Hill and Bryson Poullard finished second in the 4x200 meter relay (1:35.70).
Wyatt Bertrand, Garza, Gaspard and Bryson Miller finished second in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 10:02.00.
Joseph, Poullard, Richardson and Dedrick Vigers finished third in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 46.75.
Eunice will participate in the Bulldog Relays at Jennings High on Friday.
