The Eunice High Lady Bobcats won the District 4-4A title and advanced to the state semifinals for the first time since 1997.
Lady Cat junior Gabby Mitchell was selected to the Class 4-A All-State first team as an infielder.
Mitchell was also named District 4-4A MVP and finished the season with a .535 batting average, 60 RBI, 16 home runs, nine triples, nine doubles...
