The Eunice Lady Bobcats struggled in its District 5-3A opener Thursday as Crowley rolled to a 18-0 mercy-rule win.
Eunice (1-1) will entertain Jennings at 5 p.m. Monday before visiting district rival Church Point on Tuesday.
Crowley scored in every inning, while Lady Gent pitcher Nella Lagrange limiting Eunice to just one hit with 12 strikeouts.
Olivia Thibodeaux recorded the only Lady Cat hit.
Crowley scored two runs in the first inning and three more in the second to push ahead, 5-0.
The Ladies added two more runs in the third inning before exploding for five runs in the top of the fourth frame.
Crowley then sealed the win with six runs in the top of the fifth inning.
The Ladies finished with 15 hits, led by Phobee Spell who went 3-for-3 with a double, 4 RBI, 3 runs scored including a home run.
Morgan Guidry went 3-for-5 with 4 RBI including a home run.
