OPELOUSAS – St. Edmund grabbed a key District 5-1A win as the Lady Jays grabbed a 43-35 win over Opelousas Catholic.
It was a two player show as St. Edmund’s Mary Helen Miller scored 21 points and OC’s Brittany Major pushed in 30 points.
The Lady Jays (9-14, 2-1) opened the game with a 16-11 lead, aided by 10 points from Mary Helen Miller.
