PORT BARRE – St. Edmund’s 12-0 first quarter run proved to be the difference as the Lady Jays held on for a 43-33 win over the Port Barre Lady Devils.
Three baskets from Julia Zaunbrecher and four points by Mary Helen Miller combined with a drive in the lane by Jillian DeVillier accounted for the Lady Jays’ first quarter surge.
