MOREAUVILLE – Avoyelles used the game clock to their favor as the Mustangs grabbed a 34-7 win over the Eunice Bobcats.
Eunice stopped the Mustangs on fourth down in the opening possession of the game and the two offenses then exchanged fumbles.
The Bobcats were forced to punt and the snap went out of the end zone for as safety to give the Mustangs a 2-0 lead late in the first quarter.
