It was an impressive season for District 6-1A softball as four of the six teams earned at least one win the Div. IV playoffs.
No. 12 St. Edmund (14-15) grabbed its first playoff win in seven seasons with a 16-0 mercy-rule victory over No. 21 Central Private. The Lady Jays’ season ended with a 9-0 loss to district rival Opelousas Catholic.
