The Bulldogs would see their lead swell to 19 points in the second half before the Bengals cut that in half to 8 with 5:23 remaining.

Holmes always had an answer for LSUE, led by a 28-point performance from Brandon Weatherspoon.

Weatherspoon spearheaded a Holmes offense that shot 30-for-56 (53.6%) from the field including 8-for-20 from three-point range.

Jonathan Cisse led the Bengals' cause with 29 points while Isaiah Payne added 13.
