The Lady Bobcats advanced to the second round of the Class 4-A softball playoffs as Eunice cruised to a 18-0 win over No. 26 Eleanor McMain.
The last playoff win for the Lady Cats was in 2009 when EHS grabbed a 4-0 victory over Pearl River before falling in a 1-0 heartbreaker to Sam Houston.
No. 7 Eunice (22-5) was scheduled to face No. 10 Belle Chasse on Wednesday in the regional round.
