RUSTON – The No. 11 Lady Jays saw their season end at No. 6 Cedar Creek as the Lady Cougars earned a 9-2 regional round win over St. Edmund.
Cedar Creek won Division IV titles in 2018 and 2019 as well as 1995 and 1992.
The Lady Jays (15-8) threatened in the first inning when Mary Beth Lafleur was hit by a pitch and Kennedy Ardoin singled but neither could score.
