The No. 5 Lady Bengals opened the NJCAA Region 23 tournament with a 58-46 victory over No. 12 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. No. 5 LSUE will host No. 13 East Central at 6 p.m. Monday as the Lady Warriors upset No. 4 Meridan, 54-43. The Lady Bengals forced eight turnovers in the first quarter and jumped out to a 14-5 lead.
