There is the saying, “Bigger is better.” Rep. Ryan Bourriaque is a firm believer in that saying.
One of the eight bills Bourriaque, R-Abbeville, is trying to get approved by the legislature is House Bill 425. If approved by the House and Senate and signed by Gov. Edwards, the bill creates the Acadiana Watershed District.
The district consists of 16 parishes in Louisiana.
