The City of Breaux Bridge and the Acadiana Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will be hosting a series of meetings to discuss future development along Rees Street.
The meetings will be held in the Breaux Bridge branch of the Parish Library on Main Street from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, Monday, Sept. 24, and Wednesday, Sept. 26.
Consultants will be presenting their data and analysis on current and projected traffic volumes along the Rees Street corridor over the next 20 years and what alternative improvements could be made to accommodate the anticipated “average daily traffic.”
All three meeting presentations are the same. Attendees will have the opportunity to select preferred capacity and safety improvement options.
Any questions about the meetings can be directed to the offices of the Acadiana Planning Commission at 337-806-9361 or emailed to mhollier@planacadiana.org.
