Library, strategic plan on city’s agenda

Public hearings are scheduled ordinances to open the way for the city of Eunice to form its own library and break away from the Opelousas-Eunice Library, which was formed in 1967.
Mayor Scott Fontenot explained at the June meeting the split was discussed when Rusty Moody was Eunice mayor.
