United Way seeks homeowners who were flooded

Homeowners who suffered flooding in August 2016 and are still in need of repairs are being sought by the St. Landry Evangeline United Way. Susan Fisher, special projects coordinator, said only homeowners are eligible for the assistance.

Four months after devastating flooding ravaged South Louisiana, the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) has released figures showing an increase in flood policies in the affected areas.
