It was his dream to play college baseball, but Ross Granger never threw a pitch for LSU Eunice. On April 10, 2015, Granger signed with the Bengals and the left-hander pitcher was just 10 days away from starting his collegiate career before cancer ended his dream of playing college ball.

Louisiana farm broadcaster recognized for 30 years of service

The National Association of Farm Broadcasting recognized long-time Louisiana farm radio broadcaster Don Molino Friday for 30 years of service to the farm broadcasting industry. Molino is the senior farm broadcaster for The Voice of Louisiana Agriculture Radio Network based in Baton Rouge.
