Cotton Festival scheduled announced

Louisiana Cotton Association members have been working on the 65th Annual Louisiana Cotton Festival, which will be held Oct. 9 to 14. The members are announcing the royalty for the 65th Louisiana Cotton Festival. Kyle Ardoin, Louisiana secretary of state, will be crowned King Cotton 65th.

La. Tournoi set for Oct. 15

The Tournoi will be held Oct. 15 during the Cotton festivities, at the Industrial Park, Ville Platte, which is located directly behind the National Guard building. Bring lawn chairs, tents, ice chests, and cheer on the competitors. No glass bottles will be allowed.
