A time to thank those who proudly serve our nation

Veterans Day is not a day for sadness for our fallen comrades though we remember them with love and respect, their day is in May. We, the living celebrate our day in November. In November after celebrating the warmth of the summer and the gradual coming of fall, closing the books on another year, we come to Veterans Day, for all of us that went and returned, different men and women, of course, some stronger, some affected so badly they never truly came home.
I would like to speak directly to those of you who stepped forward when needed and returned. I respect and honor all of you, it matters not when, where and how greatly you served, you were there when you were needed, ready to fight, and yes die for a cause and a country.. None deserves more respect that those willing to take that step.
My fellow Americans, especially today, say hello and shake the hand of the person you are sitting next to you in church or any place in your community, if they are not a veteran, it’s OK, a veteran made that handshake possible. God will bless you for remembering “what is a veteran.”
To all who will read this message, please join me in a moment of silence for “to The United States of America and to the brave men and women who proudly have, are and will proudly serve her.”
I thank you and may God continue to bless this great nation.
Respectfully,
