Trick-or-treating set Oct. 31 in St. Landry

St. Landry Parish Government will allow trick-or-treating in the parish on Oct. 31, between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Because of COVID-19, parish officials are offering safety guidance based on information from the Center for Disease Control to reduce the spread of the virus.

Trick or Treat downtown is Wednesday

The sixth annual Trick or Treat will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday beginning at corner of Laurel Avenue and South 2nd Street. There will be booths along the way with goodies and activities for children. Children, age 12 and under, must wear costumes, and must be accompanied by an adult.
