Charlier, Plunkett announce March wedding

Lloyd A. Charlier, formerly of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Cathe Manuel Charlier, formerly of Eunice, currently of Youngsville, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Andrea Marie Charlier, to Caleb Scott Plunkett, son of David D. Plunkett, formerly of Houma, and Sheila Plunkett currently of Lafayette.
Miss Charlier is the granddaughter of the late Lloyd and Shirley Charlier of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and the late Larry “Bozy” and Patricia Manuel of Eunice.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lafayette High School, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. She is currently attending LSU grad school in pursuit of a masters degree in Social Work. She was a member of SOS Orientation team at UL of Lafayette.
She is employed as an English teacher at New Iberia High School.
Mr. Plunkett is the grandson of David G. and Rebecca Plunkett of Ville Platte and the late Patrick Smith and Alice Faye Brasseaux of Lafayette.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Lafayette High School where he was a member of the school’s soccer team. He is employed as a painter at Lourdes of Lafayette.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at Le Barn Rouge in Lafayette.
