On Tuesday, Eunice High history teacher Pierre Martel brought 90 seniors and juniors to the World War II Museum in New Orleans. Martel added, “It was the day before the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. We had the opportunity to meet two Pearl Harbor survivors, Mr. Frank Emond and Mr. William Braddock. Mr. Emond is 98 and Mr. Braddock is 94. They both now live in Pensacola, Florida. Mr. Emond was aboard the USS Pennsylvania during the attack, while Mr. Braddock was working patrol on land.” (Photo Submitted)
