Glendale Elementary first graders planted cucumber, radish, onion tops and cantaloupe seeds inside gloves. Students participated in this project in order to monitor and chart results growth of the seeds. Cotton balls were sprayed with water to start the germination process and were used in place of soil. Students will take home their projects to transplant.
