The Mayor of Eunice Scott Fontenot was a guest speaker for the second grade classes of Mary Joubert and Ali Cormier. Students are studying the government of our country and Mayor Fontenot explained what his job entails as the leader of a local government. After he spoke, students had the opportunity to ask him questions and they presented him with a gift of a fruit basket. Fontenot presented each child with a City of Eunice pin. (Submitted Photo)
