There is a new face on campus at Central Middle School, Detective Joshua Courville. Courville, of the Eunice Police Juvenile division, has been assigned to work with Eunice area schools, and Central Middle School. Principal Ranolviaun Landry said, “Detective Courville is making a conscious and sincere effort to promote positivity and accountability in our communities so that students, as well as their parents, can benefit and gain a better perspective and understanding of expectations.” Recently, he spent some quality time with students on campus as part of the school’s Navigating Futures Campaign. The theme of the interactive discussion among the students and the juvenile division officer was “determination”. He entertained questions, provided examples, and interacted with middle school audience while establishing a positive rapport with them. “We are pleased to have Detective Courville working with our community, and we welcome him anytime at Central Middle in promoting community cohesiveness,” said Landry.
