LSU Board of Supervisors

The LSU Board of Regents approved renaming the Acadian Center to the Dr. Anthony Mumphrey Center at its monthly meeting Friday.

The LSU Board of Supervisors approved an endowed scholarship to honor former LSUE employee Clifton “Slim” Gallow at its recent meeting on Oct. 23.

The LSU Board of Supervisors met Friday on the LSUE campus possibly for the first time since 2005.
Stephen Perry, board member, who said he had never been to the campus, called the visit an eye-opener.
