The 31-year-old man was found dead in the 400 block of Corn Street in Eunice early Christmas morning has been identified as Tommy Lee Williams, of Ville Platte, Police Chief Randy Fontenot reported.
Clifford Isaiah Campbell, 20, of 401 Corn St., Eunice, has been arrested and will be charged with second-degree murder, Fontenot stated.
Fontenot stated the incident was the result of a domestic dispute.
Police responded to a call about a shooting at 2:45 a.m. and found the man lying in front of a residence.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is still under investigation and more charges and another arrest are likely.
