00:32 Call from Acadian Wrecker advised that he got a call in reference to a vehicle flipped over in front of Fruge Lumber.
00:38 Caller in 500 block of Fuselier advised that she asked her boyfriend to leave and he is refusing.
00:40 Caller in 300 block of North Cane advised that there are several juveniles around the home banging on fences and being loud.
01:52 Caller from Crestview Apartments advised that there are a lot of yelling going on outside.

23:08 911 advised caller said his wife is going crazy and hung up.
13:11 Was able to make contact with caller who said he is having issues with his Apple watch.
14:02 Disturbance in the 100 block of Mill.
15:35 Male hitting female in the 100 block of Johnson.
16:35 Gun magazine found near Champagne’s.

Tips sought about Eunice shooting

Detective Corina Schexneider of the Eunice Police Department returned to Crime Stoppers and needs the public’s help in solving a shooting in the city of Eunice.
Officers were dispatched to shots being fired on Benoit Street at about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 20.
Shortly after, a caller notified the department that her house in the 400 block of Corn Street was struck by bullets. The victim stated that she and her family were watching TV when she heard gunshots outside of her residence.

Police: Brother killed brother

A brother shot his brother dead in an apartment in the 800 block of South Beulah Street on Tuesday, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
Police found Jonah Gobert, 29, crying loudly in the apartment where his brother, Benjamin Hurks, 35, was slumped over a sofa bed with a gun shot wound to the head, he said.
Police were called to the apartment at about 8 p.m.
Hurks was pronounced dead at the scene by a representative from the St. Landry Parish Coroner’s Office.
A .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun was recovered from the scene.
