Police say man robbed his cousin

Eunice Police have arrested a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred May 20 after a traffic stop. Kevin Lee “Baby Kev” Thomas, of the 800 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Eunice, was arrested for armed robbery on July 12.

Eunice Police discovered making a pot bust was easy as following their noses and knocking on the door on Wednesday.

3-vehicle wreck

A wreck involving three vehicles occurred at 9:46 a.m. Thursday at U.S. 190 and Martin Luther King Drive in Eunice. Eunice Police Officer Dane Wilson said a pickup truck driven by Marlon Guidry, of Eunice, ran a red light while southbound on Martin Luther King.

Found bikes

A pile of bicycles outside the Eunice Police Department are a reminder of the delight of a first bike or maybe just a new bicycle. For most of the bikes in the pile those happy days are long past. The department is listing 54 bicycles to be auctioned on July 18 at Cajun Flea Market.
