Eunice Police officers injured in pursuit

Two Eunice Police officers were injured when a car they were pursuing on U.S. 190 made a left turn into their vehicle and forced it into the median near the Spirit truck stop, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.

Robbery arrest

From Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot Dalvin Wilson: second-degree robbery. The victim obtained a ride in a vehicle in which Wilson was a passenger. The victim was discussing a handgun he had purchased that day and showing it to the passengers in the vehicle.

Two people were injured in a shooting Saturday night on Townhome Drive, according to a news release from Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot. The news release follows. Eunice Police again responded to a call of shooting on Townhome Drive, The second time in a week.

2 juveniles wounded in East Maple fracas

Two juveniles were wounded — one critically — in a fracas that occurred about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of East Maple, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot. “During the fight guns were brought out and gunfire started,” Fontenot said.
