Eunice Police: 2 injured in shooting

Two people were injured in a shooting Saturday night on Townhome Drive, according to a news release from Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
The news release follows.
Eunice Police again responded to a call of shooting on Townhome Drive, The second time in a week. Dustin "Goldmouth" Johnson was arrested last week for his shooting spree at the particular house on the afternoon of Sunday, May 3. No one was injured in that shooting.
Saturday night, May 9, at 11:00 P.M. police were again charged with investigating a shooting at the same house. "This house has been the target of shootings going back to last year, the subject of a search warrant resulting in arrests and the scene of various other activities," Chief of Police Randy Fontenot commented.
This shooting, however, was a little different in that there were victims injured in this shootout on Townhome Dr.  One victim, Damarquis Robinson, 27, AKA "KK", of Townhome Dr., was transported by family to the hospital for treatment to his injuries following the shooting.
A second suspect/victim, Brandon Ndubueze, 21 of Anne St., Eunice, LA, was located by officers a couple of hours into the investigation.  Ndubueze was found injured with a gunshot wound, hiding in a wooded area a short distance from the scene. 
As of Sunday morning, Robinson remained hospitalized with his injuries and Ndubueze has been released from the hospital and is being held in the Eunice City Jail.
