The following are arrests by Eunice Police.
Nov. 9
Kaleb Anthony May, 23, 2800 block of Charlene Hwy., Eunice. Simple burglary, theft an simple criminal damage to property.
Nov. 10
Tracy L Barber, 35, 57000 block of Knapp Thomas, Bogalusa. Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II amphetamine-methamphetamine, criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Trevor Paul Lopez, 19, 9400 block of Hwy. 99, Welsh. Simple battery of the infirm.

Attempted armed robbery at Dollar General

A man armed with a pistol attempted to rob the Dollar General store on East Laurel as the store was closing at about 10 p.m. Thursday.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said employees were approached by the man.
One of the employees was on the phone with someone and told them what was happening. The person on the other end called police, he said.
By the time police arrived the suspect had fled the scene, he said.
Fontenot said details were sketchy about the incident and video surveillance was not available.
