Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot says a shooting outside Golden Seafood resulted in one male being wounded and another sought.
The shooting occurred about 4 p.m. Wednesday after two males argued inside the store on East Maple. The confrontation moved outside where the shooting occurred on the parking lot. Before the shooting the victim had been hit by the gun.
The victim was taken in a private vehicle to the hospital and then airlifted to another hospital in critical condition. “The injuries do appear to be life-threatening,” he said.
He believed the man was wounded in the stomach.
Police did have a suspect.
Fontenot did not know what the two were arguing about.
Fontenot said a video of the incident was obtained.
