325 early voted by noon Friday in Eunice

As on noon Friday there had been 325 early votes cast at the poll in the Eunice Municipal Complex, 301 South 2nd St.
Early voting ended at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Early voting also occurred at the registrar of voters office in Opelousas.
As of noon Friday, there had been 1,772 early votes cast in Opelousas, according to Cheryl Milburn, St. Landry Parish registrar of voters.
Forty-two people had voted as noon Friday at the Eunice poll, Milburn said.
According to geauxvote.com, the secretary of state’s website, there have been 358 absentee ballots cast in St. Landry Parish by the end of voting Thursday.
There are three runoff elections on the ballot in Eunice. They are:
Secretary of state with Kyle Ardoin and Gwen Collins -Greenup.
Eunice Alderman District 1 with Chad Andrepont and Roland Miller; and
Eunice Alderwoman District 2 with Germaine Simpson and Jackie “JuJu” Vallare.
Voters must present picture identification card.
The deadline to request an absentee by mail ballot is Dec. 4 by 4:30 p.m. Voters can request an absentee by mail ballot online through the Voter Portal or in writing through a local Registrar of Voters Office (other than military and overseas voters).
The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted mail ballot is Dec. 7 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).
Any person needing assistance must declare that assistance prior to voting.
